Regional MVNO: standardising SMS lab tests across three hubs
A mid-sized MVNO replaced spreadsheets and ad-hoc handset checks with one SMS testing workspace—so engineering, roaming, and fraud teams share the same evidence.
Challenge
Verification and messaging teams were running parallel SMS tests from different countries. Results lived in tickets and personal folders, which made it hard to compare provider behaviour or show carriers a consistent narrative when disputes arose.
Approach
The operator centralised SMS testing in CallVerifier: curated number inventory, provider-scoped sends, and history that analysts could filter without asking engineering for exports. Manual call verification stayed available for the subset of cases that still required a live voice path.
Outcome
- Faster reproduction of delivery issues with timestamps and test metadata in one place.
- Shorter back-and-forth with interconnect partners because screenshots and logs attach to the same case ID.
- Onboarding for new hub staff dropped from weeks to days because the workflow is consistent across regions.
