National carrier QA: scaling Truecaller bulk checks across number × provider matrices
A network quality team needed to burn down thousands of Truecaller-related lookups without hand-dialling each one—while still proving which provider × number combinations failed and when.
Challenge
Truecaller-facing behaviour varied by interconnect route and number range. The team had a backlog of MSISDNs to validate after routing or profile changes. One-off manual calls could not keep pace, and spreadsheets did not capture job status, retries, or failure reasons in a way QA and fraud could trust.
Approach
They stood up CallVerifier’s Truecaller bulk workflow: create a campaign, load the target list, generate jobs across the required number × provider combinations, then monitor pending, in-progress, completed, and failed work from a single campaign view. Manual call verification remained available for deep dives on outliers.
Outcome
- Throughput increased from dozens of checks per day per analyst to campaign-level runs that complete overnight where the stack allows.
- Failed jobs are grouped and re-run with clear timestamps, reducing duplicate effort across shifts.
- Reporting to engineering and interconnect partners now references campaign IDs and job outcomes instead of ad-hoc screenshots in chat.
